During the fifth week of August, interventions carried out by Médecins du Monde in the health zones of Fizi and Uvira contributed to strengthening access to essential health care for displaced populations, returnees and affected communities. The activities covered medical care, nutrition, vaccination, maternal health, combating gender-based violence, epidemiological surveillance and community awareness.
